Medina County Food Waste Resource Assessment Survey

The Medina County Sanitary Engineers (MCSE) Office is considering development of a food waste processing operation to serve Medina County. By processing food waste locally, Medina County hopes to reduce the amount of waste going to landfills. Wastes that may be accepted include, but may not be limited to: food waste, grease trap and interceptor waste, as well as food manufacturing wastes and byproducts.

In order to gage interest in this type of service, MCSE is soliciting information about the quantity of food waste generated from Medina County commercial businesses.
